"Inspired by the birth of my son, I set aside my commercial work for something
that was more personal and close to my heart. I began silk screening designs that
captured what I thought to be more imaginative, silly and unpretentious—all the
things that I wanted my son to grow to be. Maintaining the quality and skill of my
work is very important to me and I strive to always do this while still concentrating
on portraying the simple pleasures of the world around."
